Warm, comforting and best of all - quick and easy! This recipe is a great way to use leftover turkey or chicken. Try adding your own veggie combinations too!
Ingredients:
6 cups water
4 low-sodium chicken or vegetable bouillon cubes
2 cups cooked turkey breast (or chicken) chunks
1 large carrot, peeled and chopped
1 small onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 cup broccoli, chopped
3 cups uncooked whole grain noodles
Garlic powder and pepper to taste
Directions:
1 Heat water and bouillon cubes in a large saucepan. Add turkey and veggies.
2 Bring back to a boil and add noodles; boil for 2 minutes. Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Season with garlic powder and pepper.
3 ENJOY!
