Tofu marinated in soy sauce with a touch of sweetness and spice - all coated in sesame seeds, is irresistible! Great for sandwiches or as a side dish.
1 16-ounce package reduced fat or lite extra-firm tofu, sliced into 4 pieces lengthwise
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons lite soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 Combine all ingredients except sesame seeds in a shallow pan.
2 Add tofu and refrigerate for 2-4 hours, turning occasionally.
3 Return tofu to room temperature. Preheat oven to 350.
4 Sprinkle tofu with sesame seeds. Bake for 45 minutes.
