Enjoy a hearty and filling bowl of this zesty turkey chili with a large green salad for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients:
3/4 pound extra lean ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 large chopped red onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
2/3 cup canned, drained and rinsed, less sodium kidney beans
1/2 cup frozen sweet corn
8 ounces no salt added tomato sauce
1 cup chopped fresh tomatoes
Dash black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons chili powder
Directions:
1 Place ground turkey in a skillet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Brown meat over medium-high heat until it is no longer pink, stirring occasionally to break it into pieces. Drain any excess fat.
2 Add green pepper, onion, and celery. Cook until softened.
3 Add beans, corn, tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, pepper, garlic and chili powder.
4 Cook mixture over low heat for 20 minutes.
5 Serve hot in bowls. Or serve as a dip with baked tortilla chips or on a bun.

Needs alot of help with more athentic ingredients would help this dish alot. Chile powder in a dish does not make it ...
