|1||In a large nonstick wok or skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides.|
|2||Set tofu aside. Add peppers, onions and water chestnuts. Stir-fry until crisp-tender.|
|3||Meanwhile prepare sauce: combine all ingredients and mix well.|
|4||Heat in a small saucepan until slightly thick. Set aside.|
|5||Return tofu to wok or skillet with peppers and add pineapple.|
|6||Add sauce and heat until heated through. Serve with brown rice.|
