Sneak some veggies into your patties or burgers by adding spinach and onions! Serve over brown rice with steamed veggies or salad on the side.
1 pound ground beef, 93% lean
2 bunches spinach - washed and cut into pieces
1/2 small finely chopped onion
2 pressed garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
Black pepper to taste
3 cups cooked brown rice
1 Preheat frying pan (no oil). Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, mix well.
2 Form mixture into small balls. Place in frying pan and flatten like tortillas using a spatula.
3 Cook both sides over medium heat until cooked through. Serve over brown rice.
