|1||Preheat oven to 375. In large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.|
|2||In a separate bowl, cream, applesauce, sugars, egg and vanilla together. Add flour mixture to applesauce mixture. Mix well.|
|3||Drop rounded teaspoons onto a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick spray, 2" apart.|
|4||Make an indent in each cookie with your thumb, and drop ½ teaspoon of jam into each cookie.|
|5||Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on cookie sheet.|
