|1||Combine sugar, corn syrup, milk and cocoa powder in a 4-quart saucepan and heat until sugar dissolves.|
|2||Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and boil until a soft ball forms when tested in cold water.|
|3||Remove from heat; stir in butter, vanilla and salt. Cool to lukewarm temperature.|
|4||With an electric mixer, beat on high until mixture begins to stiffen.|
|5||Spoon into a 9 x 13 pan sprayed with cooking spray and let harden. Cut into squares (about 80 pieces).|
