|1||Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and dried herbs in a bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal.|
|2||Add cheese; mix well. Add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.|
|3||Turn dough out onto a floured surface, and knead 4 or 5 times. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.|
|4||Place biscuits 1 inch apart on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.|
|5||Yield = about 18 biscuits. 1 biscuit = one serving.|
