Healthy Choices

  • Kimchi (pickled cabbage prepared in various ways)
  • Steamed rice
  • Mandoo (steamed dumplings)
  • Look for grilled or broiled chicken or fish and dishes that contain bean curd (tofu)
  • Bulgogi (barbequed beef strips)
  • Saengseongui (barbequed fish)
  • Maeuntang (spicy seafood soup)
  • Namul (vegetable only dishes that come steamed or raw)

Tips

  • Go easy on dipping sauces which are high in sodium as are some marinades.
  • Order a side of steamed or raw veggies with your meal.
