|1||Wash and prick potatoes. Microwave 2 at a time, for 8-10 minutes. Scoop out the flesh, mash and set aside.|
|2||Place flour in a heavy stockpot over medium heat. Slowly pour in milk and whisk until blended. Cover and cook until thickened, about 8 minutes. Add potatoes, ¾ cup of cheese, salt and pepper and bacon.|
|3||Remove from burner and add green onions and sour cream. Return to burner and simmer on low for 8-10 minutes. Garnish with remaining cheese and green onions.|
