There's no need to buy this popular soup when it's so easy to make at home. Enjoy a bowl of this high fiber soup with whole grain crackers.
Ingredients:
1 large onion
3 Tablespoons trans-free margarine or butter
2 carrots, diced
1 1/2 cup split peas, dry
6 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1 Cook onions and carrots in trans free margarine in a large pot until tender.
2 Wash and drain split peas. Add water, split peas and salt to onions and carrots. Bring to a boil.
3 ENJOY!
