Homemade hot cocoa is easy to make and well worth it when you're enjoying a cup by the fire! This recipe uses calcium-rich milk and anti-oxidant rich cocoa.
Ingredients:
1 cup non-fat milk
1 tablepsoon sugar
1 tablespoon unsweetened baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (or almond)
Directions:
1 Stir together sugar and cocoa is large microwave-safe mug. Mix with a few tbsp of milk to form a paste; stir in remaining milk.
2 Microwave on on high for 1 minute; stir. Microwave for a few seconds longer or unitl hot. Stir in vanilla extract.
3 ENJOY!
