Ingredients - 1.5 pounds chopped swiss chard (remove large stems)
- 3 cups chopped tomatoes
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced shallots (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Instructions - Combine tomatoes, garlic, red pepper and shallots in a large saucepan and cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes or until tomatoes are soft.
- Add Swiss Chard, cover and simmer, stirring frequently until the greens are tender. Add a little water as necessary during cooking to add moisture.
