Ingredients - 1/2 cup light margarine or spread
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1 12-ounce package frozen unsweetened strawberries, thawed and drained
Instructions - Preheat oven to 400 F. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Cream margarine and sugar. Mix in flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda; blend well.
- Stir in oatmeal. Press half the mixture into pan; bake 10 minutes.
- Spread strawberries over cooled mixture and sprinkle with remaining oatmeal mixture.
- Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Cut into 24 bars.
