Don’t forget about the wonderful fruits of winter – there are plenty delicious and colorful fruits to choose from. We’ve highlighted our favorites with tips on how to add them to your day. Make it a goal to try one new winter fruit a week and spice up your fruit palate.

-Excellent source of vitamin C and fiber and a good source of folate
-Super sweet and juicy as well as seedless and easy to peel!
-Stir segments into vanilla yogurt and sprinkle with cinnamon or toss some into a green salad

Red Grapes

-Grapes couldn’t be easier to eat!
-Add grapes to an appetizer platter with cheese and nuts, a green salad or couscous dish. Dust them with cinnamon and freeze them for a refreshing dessert. Or, try them in a parfait with granola and yogurt

-Half a grapefruit for breakfast or add segments to a spinach and avocado salad. Try chopped grapefruit in salsa for a tangy twist
