When I think of Spring, I automatically think about eating more fruits and veggies. I'm not sure if it's the warmer weather or that underlying instinct to get ready for bathing suit season! :) Either way, springtime has a ton of delicious fruits and vegetables that are in season, which means not only do they taste better, but they're cheaper too... bonus!
Here is a list of some Fruits and Veggies that are prime for the picking during the months of March, April and May:
Collard and Mustard Greens
Pea Pods/Peas/Snow Peas
Purple, White and Green Asparagus
Red Leaf Lettuce
Spring Baby Lettuce
