Fruits and Veggies of Spring, from Diet.comWhen I think of Spring, I automatically think about eating more fruits and veggies. I'm not sure if it's the warmer weather or that underlying instinct to get ready for bathing suit season! :) Either way, springtime has a ton of delicious fruits and vegetables that are in season, which means not only do they taste better, but they're cheaper too... bonus!

Here is a list of some Fruits and Veggies that are prime for the picking during the months of March, April and May:

Veggies:
Artichokes
Butter Lettuce
Broccoli
Chives
Collard and Mustard Greens
Corn
Fava Beans
Fennel
Green Beans
Morel Mushrooms
Pea Pods/Peas/Snow Peas
Purple, White and Green Asparagus
Radicchio
Red Leaf Lettuce
Spinach
Spring Baby Lettuce
Swiss Chard
Vidalia Onions
Watercress

Fruits:
Apricots
Honeydew
Limes
Lychee
Mango
Oranges
Pineapple
Rhubarb
Strawberries

Try to include some of these foods into your diet over the next few weeks.
