While the term “superfood” was originally used as a buzzword, it has actually become popular among health enthusiasts and the medical community in the last few years. A superfood is essentially any food product that provides us with a wide variety of health benefits and little or no drawbacks. If you would like to be as healthy as possible in the coming year, then here is a look at three amazing superfoods you might want to include in your diet.
Many people throughout the world think of fat as a bad thing, but this macronutrient is actually vital to our health. Healthy fat gives us long-lasting energy and enables our cells to repair themselves. Avocados are packed with healthy fat as well as 20 other essential vitamins and minerals such as potassium, fiber, and vitamin E. This creamy green fruit is exceptionally easy to cook with, and it makes an excellent addition to soups, salads, shakes, and ice cream. It can also be eaten by itself with nothing more than a sprinkle of sea salt and black pepper.
2. Matcha Green Tea
