Celebrities and Diet

The Emmys have come and gone, but the designs are still lingering. According to Metrofashion.com, large format dresses are peaking around the corner for fall and winter. They are coming in a variety of oversized florals to vibrant graphics. Even though People.com has ousted the fad on its Best and Worst list, stars like Nicole Richie and Sophia Busch have begun to don the eye catching apparel to red carpet events.

Diva’s Dish on Large Prints

I have mixed feelings about this new fad emerging. The large, flowing dresses will be a nice change from the short bare-all skirts that have plagued fitting rooms since last summer. It surprises me that someone as notoriously thin as Nichole Richie would indulge in the fad, as large prints tend to make most people look like a house.

However, the busy patterns can mask certain problem areas around the midsection, upper arms, and throughout the thighs. It takes a certain amount of confidence and energy to suit up in eye popping colors/graphics and take to the streets. If you have a vibrant personality and are looking for a dress to speak your mind, this fad could fit you like a glove. If you are more on the reserved side, best leave this one on the hanger.
