OK, so it's time to share a mini success story. I started out this lifestyle change on May 31 of this year at the whopping wieght of 224 pounds. When I stepped on the scales this morning, I had reached my first mini-goal, weighing in at 200 pounds. I couldn't be happier at this moment, as I have a doctor's appointment this morning, and he's been counseling me on weight loss for some time. Finally, I can show him some real results, thanks to the wonderful wealth of information contained here and also the support of a marvelous group of fellow travelers on this weight loss journey. Now, it's on to my next mini goal of 175! Here's to hoping I'll get there in a reasonable amount of time! Now, I must go and do my happy dance, which should be a pretty decent kind of cardio, if I get into it. *grins*

That's awesome! Congrats! That only took you about a month and a half - that's really good! I can just feel how happy you are right now. Hang on to that feeling and let it carry you to your next min-goal. Yeah for you!!!!

Wow, that's so great! Just yesterday I think it was, another member, Cheryl, went to her doc and he was really impressed with her weightloss so far. That must be a great feeling! Keep it up...you're doing awesome! ~Sara :o)
