Since I had to come into work today an hour early, I had to postpone my morning workout (risky, I know, but I am already getting up at 5 am, and refuse to get up any earlier on the grounds that it is inhuman!). But work cooperated and the weather was terrific! The sun was hot and the wind was cold but not too cold. The flowers were blooming and I could occasionally smell the plum blossoms!

Okay, I'm not normally big on outdoors (let's just say I bought a second floor condo so I wouldn't have to deal with any lawn that I knew I wouldn't use), but that was really nice. So nice, in fact, that I pushed myself a bit harder and longer and made it about four blocks farther than I've ever been on the bike path by Boulder Creek.

And now I only have one more hour until I reach my goal this week! And this week, I've picked out a new dvd burner/drive for my computer. Definitely more expensive than the rest of the rewards on my list, but it's tax refund time and I've really been wanting one.

Congrats on being almost to your goal and a whole 2 days left to reach it!

It's nice to have a treat every once in a while - except for the treat of fast food or take-away - not nice.
Glad you're taking advantage of the smells, sights and sounds of nature and spring in general.
Well done on your goal, keep it up^^
