Add Some Spice
There are many spices and seasonings that can be used in place of salt and other less healthy additives. Sprinkling paprika or chili powder on some of your foods is a great way to add more spice to your meals. Cinnamon is a better alternative to sugar and other unhealthy sweeteners and can be sprinkled on fruit, toast and oatmeal. Other healthy seasonings include turmeric, ginger and cayenne pepper.
