Added sugar is the enemy of your teeth, no two ways about it. If you want your teeth to be free of cavities and decay, then nothing can be smarter than refraining from consuming foods that are brimming with sugar. Stay far away from milk chocolate bars that list sugar as their top ingredient. Stay just as far away from gummy worms that have ingredients that you can barely pronounce as well. Talk to your dentist about healthier snack alternatives that are out there waiting for you. They may talk to you about dental implants, too. These can do a lot for folks who have missing teeth.

Avoid Acidic Food Items

Citrus fruits offer a number of nutritional benefits. They’re also highly acidic. Acidity can do a number on the enamel of your teeth. If you want to avoid the pitfalls of enamel erosion, then you should try to keep your citrus fruit intake minimal. If you eat oranges and grapefruits regularly, you should meticulously brush your teeth after the fact.

Better oral health can lead to a better life in general. It can minimize your cavity risks. It can make your teeth look a lot fresher and brighter.
