I need help putting together a diet that is both low carb - and the college student - on the go type thing. Lots of grab and go type items.

Hi!

Here's a preliminary list of ideas I've come up with and if I think of more I'll be sure to pass them along!

As long as you have a fridge and microwave on hand most of these things should work.

Egg beaters - you can microwave these up in a mug with some veggies or shredded cheese for a quick and easy breakfast

String cheese and other individually packaged cheeses like Laughing Cow and Baby Bel

Low carb wraps, pitas and light whole wheat breads

Peanut butter

Sugar Free jelly

Almonds, Walnuts, Sunflower Seeds, soy nuts, etc

Edamame

Tuna in the can or in the flavor pouches

Lunch meats - my favorites are the Boar's Head brand, particularly the low sodium options

Pre-cut veggies with hummus or low fat dip

Light Canned Soups

Pre-cooked chicken strips - I think Tyson makes a brand of these

Whole or cut fruit

Greek Yogurt

I'll keep thinking to see if I can come up with anything else, but I hope that's a good start for you. Let me know if you have any other questions!
