Ingredients - 2 lbs asparagus, tough ends trimmed
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
Instructions - Place asparagus in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover saucepan and steam 5 minutes or until bright green and tender.
- Rinse asparagus under cold water and drain thoroughly. Combine oil and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Pour over asparagus. Season with pepper to taste. Serve at room temperature if desired.
