Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup peeled, chopped and cored apples
  • 2/3 cup sugar, divided
  • 1/3 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
  • 3 tablespoons light margarine or spread, melted

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325. Spray an 8” pie pan with cooking spray. Put cranberries and apples in pie pan. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup of sugar and pecans.
  2. Beat egg well; gradually adding 1/3 cup sugar. Beat until foamy. Add flour, oats and melted light margarine. Beat until thoroughly blended.
  3. Spread over apple-cranberry mixture. Bake for 45 minutes. Crust should be golden brown.
  4. Serve with light whipped cream or low-fat frozen yogurt if desired.
