Online Team Weight Loss Competition Helps Dieters Keep Resolutions
BOSTON, January 16, 2008 — The first-ever Diet.com Fresh Start Team Weight Loss Challenge kicked off January 7th to overwhelming response. The team challenge format focuses on the individual as well as the support community. Users side with one of the two competing online challenge teams to get support, have fun and lose weight.
The unique competition consists of eight insightful weekly challenges geared to keep participants motivated and engaged throughout their weight loss journey. A winning team and an individual MVP are selected each week; judging is based on challenge involvement, performance and progress. For their Week One mini-challenge, participants were asked to share their most creative and healthy weight loss tips.
At the conclusion of the challenge, members of the winning team will be awarded a prize.
