Weekly Rewards to Make Weight Loss Fun and Motivating
Philadelphia, May 18, 2006 — Diet.com announces an exciting new program aimed to make the "Slimmer By Summer" Weight Loss Challenge even more fun and successful for its members: Weekly Motivation Rewards.
The Weekly Motivation Rewards program is hosted in the "Slimmer By Summer" Weight Loss Challenge board on Diet.com. It uses mini-essay contests to help Diet.com users stay motivated with the challenge and celebrate how far they've come in their weight loss journey. The weekly essay contest question will be posted each Monday and a reward winner will be selected and announced at the beginning of the following week.
"This is exactly what I need right now. I have been falling off the 'weight loss wagon' (for lack of a better phrase) and need something to push me back into it," says Rhonda, a Diet.com "Slimmer by Summer" Weight Loss Challenge participant.
After receiving much positive feedback about Daily Trivia, a similar incentive program run on Diet.com in the past, the Diet.com team designed the Weekly Motivation Rewards program to offer additional motivation for weight loss challenge participants. In the "Slimmer By Summer" Weight Loss Challenge, a total of 2,159 Challengers are eligible to participate and win a cash prize as their motivation reward.
