Location: Boston/Brookline
Diet.com is looking for a web developer, who is passionate about the Web 2.0 community features, great web design, and good usability practices, to help speed up our effort in leveraging next generation social networking applications for consumer health.
Candidate will develop within a team-environment to design architecture, templates and implement strategies for web 2.0 features that deliver rich utilities to users.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong desire to innovate using social network applications. You will enjoy the freedom and flexibility our company offers.
- Excellent PHP4/5 & MySQL 5+ (LAMP/WAMP) skills
- Knowledge and understaning of large scale web apps.
- HTML, CSS & DHTML experience.
- Javascript, AJAX/AHAH knowledge
- Prototype/Scriptaculous Experience
- JQuery Experience
- Experience with SEO, SEM, and site optimization.
- Ability to understand business problems and create solutions.
