Diet.com is filled with members who are on the right path because of the support and encouragement you all provide to each other. Here is another great story we found among our Diet.com users.

Member Name: cstewart2

Her Favorite Type of Exercise: “My favorite type of exercise would have to be walking. It’s something I can do with my friend or alone when need be. When I started my diet/exercise plan, I was lucky if I could walk down my street without getting out of breath and being wiped out. Now, I find when I do start walking, I don’t want to stop. I am able to do 8 miles and it feels great!”

Her Diet Tips: “As for diet tips, self control is the number one key. This is something I did not have for many years, until I found this website (thanks to my best friend Becky). I learned how to eat more meals a day, but smaller portions, and how to stop eating all that JUNK I had been putting in my body. Start one day at a time, and if you're having a hard time, reduce one of those "bad" things each day, and in no time you will be free of the "bad" and consuming only the good. Exercise is a main key to weight loss. Start off slow and build up to a comfortable speed/workout program for yourself.”

What Keeps Her Motivated: “The main thing that keeps me motivated is knowing that I'm losing the weight and inches. Having my best friend to keep pushing me along, and my new Diet.com friends to give me the confidence and support I need even during my "down" times helps me so much. Joining the last challenge was a big boost for my motivation as well. I have overcome so many obstacles over the past few months since I came to this website. One day I blogged about my physical weaknesses that have now become obsolete. Now I just keep going and telling myself, "You can do this". It’s a wonderful feeling to have, just knowing people are backing you and having the courage to continue on.”

Her key to success: “My key to success is not giving up no matter how hard it seems. It has been a lot of hard work to get to where I am, but it feels so good to know I have lost 10 pounds since joining Diet.com.”

How Diet.com has helped her: “I have tried many diets (slimfast, diet pills and others), but then I found Diet.com through my best friend. She told me that she had been going to this site for some time, and what success she had. So I decided to stop at the site and check it out, needless to say I liked it and said "Hey, it can't hurt, so I think I'll give it a try." That was in January, I started by eating better, changing my entire meal plan, but still no weight loss. I started blogging and found out how many nice & supportive people were on this site. Then the Challenge, I was determined to lose weight for it and to increase my steps and eat healthier. Then over the next weeks I started shedding the pounds, 10 of them. And I have not stopped since. I plan on reaching my goal this year before Christmas so I can go to my sisters and wear something really nice and not look like a blimp like past years. "Motivation?" Yup that is what will make it happen with the help of my new friends at Diet.com.”

How She Motivates Us: Cheryl has been tasting success in her weight loss endeavors since joining Diet.com. She lost a total of 10 pounds in our recently concluded Fresh Start All*Stars Challenge! But she’s not stopping there!

Inspiring Post: “I remember when I started and had lost a few only to gain it back within a week when I started working out. But then started to lose inches which made me feel a little better. But then with continuing my new program, I started to shed the weight and after all my hard work I have lost that 10 and dropped from an 18 to a 14/15 pants size. I’ve also been wearing tighter tops instead of the x-large ones that bag on me to hide everything. I have gained more confidence over the past couple months and I THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND COMMENTS. YOU ALL ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Congrats on being the featured member of the week. I agree with you on the motivation point. The more weight I lose, the more excited and motivated I am. If I'm tempted to eat something that I shouldn't, I remind myself that I've come a long way and I don't want to start messing up now. Good luck in your journey.
