I AM IN COLLEGE AND FRANKLY I DONT HAVE THE TIME TO BE COOKING SO OFTEN. ANY ADVICE? DO I HAVE TO EAT ONLY FRUITS AND VEG IN THE DAYS? TAKE OUT? THATS ALL I DO NOW OR EAT JUNK, CRACKERS CHEESE BUSCUITS AND CHIPS. CEREAL ETC. WHAT ELSE IS THERE?

There are many things that you can take to college with you. Sure, fruits and vegetables, but also salads or sausages, sandwiches. I used to prepare some salads (like noodlesalad), put in a box and take with me. Sausages were also good to take. Just take lean ones like turkey. Hmm, what else can I think of. During my uni time I didnt live too healthy either, to be honest :P mostly I lived from sandwiches or the food that I got at the uni. But there are tons of other options ;)

If you do not have access to a microwave it can be tough but it is still doable. You can make regular salads or you could do what I like to call "salad alternatives" Making salads without lettuce (I get bored of lettuce) peppers, onions, mushrooms, other veggies in a vinegrette. Or maybe whole wheat pasta salads.

There are so many ways to cook veggies that are quick simple and healthy! If you don't have a lot of time frozen or pre cut/washed produce might be for you. These veggies (once you have thawed them) are so SO easy to add to a soup or a salad.

One thing you might want to do that's easy fast and fun is get a good blender. Healthy fruit/ice/yogurt & or milk smoothies are easy and kind of fun. You can always experiment with your ingredients. Drinks come out delicious and its good for you!
