I am new here and i really don't feel comfortable expressing my weight issues to other people but I figure I should just get over my fears and get some support. I use to be at a healthy weight but over the past 3 years I've gained about 20 lbs mainly due to stress. I am trying 2 get back on the right track and cut down on my sugar intake. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can begin eating right and exercising? i recently joined a gym, but don't really know where to begin.

RE: I need help!
If you don't diet properly, hard work at the gym may not prove too productive. I know this has been the case for me in the past. Keeping a food journal really helps me to analyze what I'm eating. I may have thought I was eating healthy, but after keeping a food journal I learned that small snacks add up a lot faster than you think. Try reading labels and counting calories. I hope this helps! :D
