So many ideas...jumping off the wagon, jumping rope.

My house is a challenge zone right now. I love the idea of jump roping! I am very clumbsy at it though!

So, me goal is to get a space cleared in the basement, and attempt 5 minutes of jump rope this week.

I am on travel this weekend, so it much happen in the next few days.

Anyone else "jumping" to it?

Oh - does anyone have any good, inspirations, good beat music to jump rope to?

RE: Jumping...
This group is kinda slow getting started. I feel a bit bad because I haven't been trying very hard. I find jumping rope so intense, but now that I've been running regularly, I should try it again.

That's pretty much the same thing here dope! I havn't really been up to the best standards in exercising this week so I think I might do some jump roping after all it's great calorie burning!

RE: Jumping...
I know I need to do more. The thing that is important to me is I need a higher impact exercise. The majority of my cardio is done on the elliptical and my body is not building up a tolerance for higher impact sports (jogging and running) and so when I do try and jog or run I am getting massive shin splints. I keep stretching and knowing it will come at some point. So I am hoping jumping rope will help.

I am planning to take my jump rope with me on my vacation so I will plan to do more with it then. :-)
