Hey, I just recently purchased my first 100 cal. snack box. I wasn't sure how I would like these snacks, but they are pretty tasty. Usually, I would munch on red peppers, green peppers and carrots. I am one of those people that love these types of foods, so they are actually a treat for me. But yes, definitely, I plan on trying more of the 100 cal. snack treats. They are so convenient and they don't sabotage the diet!

I like the Light & Fit yogurt. It is only 60 calories for a small container. Yummy!

I like the yoplait lite 100 calorie yogurts, orange creme is the best and I can feel full on just that. I also like carrots and rice cakes dipped in hummus. Unsweetened applesauce with cinnamon and splenda. Unsalted pumpkin seeds. Fruit like pears, blueberries, bananas and dried figs. Sometimes I eat veggies for a snack like steamed cauliflower or chopped spinach with some garlic and parmesan cheese.

Hey all of your snacks sound really good!! :)I like to have fruit salad and some days I will have an apple with peanut butter.

Oh, yeah, apples with peanut butter are good, and I don't get hungry for a while if I eat one. A rice cake with peanut butter is good too, but apples are better for us!

I discovered 45 calorie sugar free caramel pudding cups, they are hunts handi snacks, they are really yummy!

Have you tried Swiss Miss Diet Hot Chocolate? It's only 25 calories and has 30% of the RDA for calcium. Other than that it has little nutritional value, but it's good if you need some chocolate. I was thinking of mixing in a little bit of instant coffee, to give it extra flavor (it's probably also better with milk rather than water).

Another good chocolate fix is Kozy Shack Real Chocolate Pudding. This is 140 cals, but it tastes more like 400 cals.

We don't have any of those 100 calorie packs here in Germany :`(. My snacking looks more like apples, bananas, anything that is easy to grab and go, so mostly fruits or a yogurt. We do have that granola bars or fruit bars that I also like sometimes. But for some reason I stopped snacking. My tummy is still filled from the 3 main meals that I don't feel like eating anything else anymore (most of the times ;))

I love broccoli. I prepare a salad with it by adding raisins, sunflower seeds, red onions, light mayo, a little splenda and a low-fat shredded cheese. Mix and enjoy!! I also like the following recipe: 2 bunches broccoli, cut into 2 1/2-inch long florets 1 medium shallot, roughly chopped 1 pint cherry tomatoes, whole 3 cloves garlic, roughly chopped 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 4 tablespoons olive oil Salt and freshly ground black pepper 1/3 cup grated Parmesan

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Add broccoli to a large bowl. Add the shallots, cherry tomatoes, garlic and red pepper flakes with 4 tablespoons oil in large bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss to coat and spread onto large baking sheet. Roast until the stems are tender-crisp and lightly golden brown, about 18 minutes. Grate the Parmesan over the broccoli while it's hot.

Those both sound great! The roasted one especially. I love Parmesan on my veggies. For the first one is that with raw broccoli? Have you ever seen that broccoli they cut up into shreds called broccoli slaw? I bet that would be good for the salad?! Thanks so much for the recipes!

I like raw carrots dipped in hummus. I also put carrots in my mashed potatos with a little bit of garlic. The ratio is about 1 part carrot to 3 parts potato. I also make carrot fries in the oven, I slice them up just like potatos and toss them in a tiny bit of olive oil and some salt and pepper. Their really good. Sometimes I do a mix of that too w/ some potato fries mixed in.

Great!! I really like the carrot fries idea. I love sweet potato fries in the oven but I never thought about having carrots that way. ;) I will give that it a try. I'm not a fan of hummus though. I tasted it at a party and didn't like it. What exactly is it's benefits to a healthy diet? I may have to do some research on this just to see if I can learn to like it. :) Thanks for the suggestions.

Hummus is smashed up chick peas with tahini which is made from sesame seeds, garlic, and lemon juice. It's pretty low in calories, about 80 calories for two tablespoons, and has fiber in it. I've tried a whole bunch of different brands, there are some bad ones. If you wanted to try it again the brand I've found to be the best is called Sabre, it's near the deli at my grocery store. You can also make it yourself but I have yet to do that. I'm the only one in my family who likes it so I can see why you wouldn't. Glad I could help with the carrots.
