Hey Sara, and how were the DVDs? Anything to recommend? I didn't buy any new ones yet. I just "re-discovered" my old TaeBo and Pilates videos, so I'll give them a try for starters. But later on any new tips will be helpful ;)

I bought a Gold's Gym exercise ball, it came with a halfway decent dvd but the workout isn't too taxing.

I had some step aerobic VHS tapes a friend let me use. I think it was Jen Miller, and I liked them. I think step is falling out of popularity, but I'd like to get some DVDs andyway because it's fun. Anyone have Cindi Taylor or Cathe Friedrich? Do you like/recommmend?

I am the queen of Excercise DVD's. Ive tried so many because at school i have a gym but I'm not home enough to justify paying $60 or more for a monthly rate at a gym here. Carmen Electra's DVD's are not a good workout at all. They are more about trying to look sexy and pouting than actually working any fat away. Yoga Booty Ballet is pretty good because it has a variety of toning, cardio, balance, stretching, etc. However, I feel kind of ridiculous when I'm doing some of the videos for it. I like to feel like I'm working out when I work out. I really like Jillian Michaels and DVD's with Cindy Whitmarsh. The Firm seems to have some good vids also

Yes!!! I love it to! One of my co-workers intrduced it to our weight-loss group. Everyone loevd it! It definitely is challenging but yet fun.

I want to Try that one. I really Like Billy Blanks Taebo though. and you can get his stuff at wal-mart for 9 bucks. So its a Cheaper buy for me.

I would purchase the complete Tae Bo workout library. I feel really challenged when I workout using my current DVDs. I can only imagine how much more interesting my exercises would be.

right now on my wish list isn't a dvd, it's a treadmill. I LOVE walking on the treadmill, can't afford a good one and am afraid to by a cheap one for fear of getting a crappy product!

My two favorite DVDs are Tae Bo and Hip Hop Abs. I love to dance so the Hip Hop Abs is great!! When I feel up to working out in the morning I enjoy the Tae Bo DVD. It is awesome!! And I see results within 7 days. Amazing!!!

Mine is funny, at least I feel funny and I'm sure I look funny doing it. It is belly dancing by Jillina. I'm really bad at it and I can't even do all the moves, but it is good for working your core. And it always makes me laugh and have fun!

mine have to be the Walk Away the Pounds. I've tried others, The firm for one. I just couldn't get into it for some reason. I have a Denise Austin Pilates DVD but it hurts my back to much and I already have enough problems with my lower back without trying to mess it up!

hello everyone! my current fave dvd's are 30 day shred by the trainer from biggest loser, jillian. and i also love one on one training with jackie warner! i've tried the tae bo but for me and my little space, i wasnt successful with it!

Mine is Turbo Jam. I have never been one to do workout DVD’s because I get bored easily. I have a couple of Denise Austin DVD’s but their collecting dust lol. I decided to try Turbo Jam and I sweat my BE-HIND off big time doing those workout’s… to me their anything but boring lol.

I LOVE Turbojam but I haven't done it in awhile. I bought the initital set you order over the phone. It has like 5 different workouts. I usually combine some of them or do the turbo sculpt for 40 min., which gives you a great muscle workout (you just need some dumbbells). You'll feel the burn, that's for sure! That's so great that your co-workers can get in on this with you. It must keep you very accountable! I wish I had the same support! ~Sara :o)

I really like TurboJam as well. It combines two of my favourite exercises - dance and kickboxing. I also like that it is fast paced and keeps you on your toes all time, which is good for people who get bored easly - just like me :)

Count me in on the TJ crowd! I love all the different videos. I usually combine them with another workout. I like to run so I will go run and when I come home I pop in a TJ DVD. I really like the Punch, Kick, Jam one! I haven’t done the AB Jam yet though. I might combine that one with the 20min. workout one.

It is a walking video the first tape is one mile of walking and knee lifts,side steps,kicks and using a stretchie band. Then the second tape is 2 miles with all the things I mentioned before.And the third tape is 3 miles with all of the other stuff. It's called walk away the pounds express with Leslie Sansone.

My fiance's cousin has it. He is a Masonary an is in pretty good shape, but had to quit after a couple weeks of just doing the intro video. It is a butt kicker, that is for sure!

I'm so jealous of you and your co-workers. I wish we could get together like that at my work. We pretty much all joined the gym, but most people have slacked, plus there's bad foods in here all the time! Not an easy environment to work in!

I'm late on replying to this, but I wondered the exact same thing! All you need is some room in front of a TV and a DVD/tape player. Basically, you just walk in place and do side-to-side moves. It sounds easy enough and I thought it was going to be too easy for me, but it was quite a workout! I know a lot of people who enjoy it!

I haven't done my DVD workouts for awhile since I've been going to the gym, and I miss them! I have a few that I've combined together to make my own routine. I don't really do it in any order, but here are some things I do: (with weights... 3 or 5 pounders)- squats, lunges, butterfly, bicep curls, chest press, overhead extensions. without weights- kicks, punches, jumping jacks, bicycle, crunches, leg extensions, plank, modified push-up, leg rear extensions, etc. I don't always do all these things, but I like to mix it up. It's nice to be able to do my own thing and watch TV at the same time! ~Sara :o)
