RE: healthy eating for dorms
Well my first dorm, all I had was a microwave so -try lean cuisine dinners. Also instead of mindless study snacking on potato chips and pizza, try low calorie jello or different nuts like almonds. They are high in protein and really good for your health. I really enjoy just heating up a can of Italian cut green beans with lots of pepper. Your looking at about 80 calories tops and it fills you up!

I think Lean Cuisines have been great for me. They help you out on the portion control. There's tons of variety. They're also fairly inexpensive about 3 or 4 dollars You could buy 5 for the price of a pizza delivered to your dorm. As far as snacking goes, my personal favorite is celery sticks or carrots with hummus. If you're working with a meal plan, try and spend most of it at the salad bar. Good Luck.. hopefully you wont be in the dorms for much longer.. it becomes easier the second you have a refrigerator that can hold more than 24 cans of beer..:-)
