Jamy D. Ard, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Nutrition Sciences and Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received his M.D. degree and completed internal medicine residency training at Duke University Medical Center. He is also medical director of UAB’s EatRight Weight Management Services which features the OPTIFAST program.
