Burning fat from your body is far more important than losing weight. Fat weighs less than muscle. Fat also takes up more space than muscle. This means, that your weight can be down, but you are in bigger clothes. If your body fat is too high you are not healthy. Fitness is the word I would like you to ponder. Being fit and healthy! That is what you want!
Exercise will burn calories and fat. It will also build muscle, strengthen your heart, bones and boost your metabolism. But you know this, I am not telling you anything new. People donít stick to a workout because they havenít found something they like. The reason people say they donít workout is because of time. I understand time is a factor.
As the saying goes, if you want to get something done, give it to a busy person. When something becomes a priority, we make time for it. Last year, I wrote an article about how exercising daily was equal to taking an antidepressant. I joined a gym that offered group fitness classes. It was the best decision I have made in 2011!
I have never regretted making time to exercise. People donít say, "I wish I never wasted my time exercising." They do say, "I will be happy when I am finished exercising." Find a workout that suits you - one that you look forward to doing on a regular basis.
Just for the next 8 weeks, add fitness to your routine. Start with 20 minutes and work toward 40 minutes, four times per week. Your body will show results.

Walking - Tighten your tummy, clench your fists and power walk!
Dance Ė Create a playlist of music you love and dance away.
Video Games Ė Zumba, workouts, kick boxing... There are a lot of interactive games to help you work up a sweat.
Exercise on Demand Ė Cable has all kinds of workouts.
Group Fitness Ė Take a community education class or jazzercise, belly dancing, Zumba, Turbo Kick, Yoga, Pilates, etc.
Fitness DVDís Ė You can get a great workout, like Zumba, Turbo Jam, Yoga, Pilates, etc.
Bike Riding Ė I enjoy this with my husband. We go on bike rides in the morning on the weekend and stop for coffee.
