Summer is just 8 weeks away and now is the perfect time to turn up your fitness routine a notch or get started on a brand new program to look and feel your best!

Today, I’m going to share with you the top 7 ways to get in shape for summer without having to drastically change your lifestyle or spend a lot of money doing it. And the best part is that with 8 weeks left until summer you still have just enough time to transform your body!

I’ve had clients lose over 33 pounds in less time than that and I know you can do the same if you follow these tips.

So here we go!

The Top 7 Ways to Get in Shape for Summer:

1. Eliminate Sugar
If you’ll only change one thing for me with your nutrition over the next 8 weeks I want you to take out any form of refined sugar that you’re currently consuming… this change alone will dramatically transform your energy levels and your waistline.

2. Shorter Workouts
Seriously, I know it’s hard to believe, but you will get better results if you shorten your workouts, but increase the intensity.

3. Add Weight Training
Include at least 3 resistance training workouts per week in your fat burning program. They can be body weight exercises or done with just a pair of dumbbells like the ones in my Fatlossity, Lose5in7 Weight Loss System.

4. Eat More Often
By breaking up your daily eating into 5-6 smaller meals you will feel less hungry during the day, be less likely to cheat between meals, and you’ll start shrinking your stomach naturally.

5. 5 Workouts per Week
5 workouts per week may sound like a lot, but they can be done right at home and remember they only have to be 20 - 30 minutes of intense exercise. With this style of interval training the workouts fly by and they give you so much energy!

6. Keep a Journal
It’s not quite a diary, but if you’re really serious about transforming your body and your life, you need to be honest with yourself and the steps you’re taking to get there. If you’re writing down everything you eat, your exercise routines, and your healthy choices, then you’re way more likely to reach your goals.

7. Tunnel Vision
Anyone who has ever achieved anything worthwhile has had to become extremely focused and develop a one track mind. Basically, what this means is that if something is coming between you and your goal you’ll find a way to go above it, around it, or right through it. Either way, you don’t let anything stop you from attaining the body and healthy lifestyle you plan on creating for yourself!
