This past Thursday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced the recall of almost 19 tons of frozen Kenosha Beef International Ltd. bacon-cheeseburger patties. The culprit this time? Possible pieces of gasket material.
The USDA says the products being recalled are 2-pound cartons containing six patties of Sam's Choice Fireside Gourmet Black Angus Beef Patties Bacon and Aged Cheddar, and have an establishment number EST425B and "best if used by" date code of 120812B. The affected patties were distributed in Indiana, Maine, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Wisconsin. To read more, follow this link: Kenosha Beef Recall. But really... we hope you're not eating too many Bacon Cheeseburgers anyway! :)
