That’s because as we age our muscle mass and metabolism decreases so our bodies need less calories. Along the same lines, as you lose weight, your body needs less calories (approximately 8 calories less per pound lost) because there’s less of you. If you’ve already lost 20 pounds, your body may need 160 calories less than before you lost the weight. Adapting and changing the way we eat as we age and as we lose weight is an important concept that helps us adapt to our changing bodies. I like this blog. You've basically said the first thing I thought when I read the title. Losing even just a little weight, has a lot to do with self control. Those last 5 pounds will come off so much easier if someone eats right consistently!

I HAVE LOST OVER 4 STONE AND JUST NEED TO LOSE ANOTHER HALF A STONE BUT IM FINDING IT VERY DIFFICULT CAN ANYONE HELP
