Its a New Year and its time to give you a new exercise to step up your workout and help you reach your flat stomach goals. Time to get you off the treadmill and into the weight room to burn fat more efficiently and effectively!
This week's flat stomach exercise, to add to your flat stomach workout is the dumbbell step up. This exercise targets your lower body - glutes, hamstrings, and quads. With this combination your heart rate will be racing before you finish the first set - ensuring that you're burning fat right from the start. The Dumbbell Step Up is a great exercise to add to your flat stomach workout as it will help you get nice lean and toned legs - ready for any little black dress or short wearing vacation!
The best part of this exercise is it can be adapted for any fitness level. If you are a beginner choose a low step - no dumbbells or extremely low weight. As your strength increases, increase the size of the step and the weight of the dumbbells. To challenge yourself further, try doing timed intervals - do the exercise for one minute and then rest for one minute - and repeat. No matter your fitness level this exercise will have your heart racing and fat burning in no time!
