Why You Should Only Weigh in Twice a Week and Which Days to Do it!

Here's a weight loss trick that I bet you haven't been using...

After having completed over 12,567 personal training sessions I can tell you that the two best days of the week to weigh in are on Friday and Monday.

Here’s why:

I’ve found that many clients adhere to their nutrition and exercise plan Monday through Friday, but it’s the weekends where many of the cheat meals/days happen.

Here’s what happens after those days of cheating…

Come Monday many people will be up on the scale a half a pound to 2 pounds after excessive eating and/or drinking over the past two and a half days. And although much of this may be water weight, they are nonetheless discouraged by their weight.

And, if you only weigh in on Mondays you’ll come to believe that you are never losing weight!

However, If you were to weigh yourself on Friday (before the 2.5
days of cheating) you’d most likely see you were down in weight
(sometimes as much as 2-3 pounds just from Monday).

I use this strategy to show clients that if they can just string together 2-3 weeks without any cheats on the weekends they’ll be well on their way to achieving their goals!
