Losing weight and keeping it off is really all about making time for the healthy lifestyle behaviors that will get your weight and life back in and under your control.
You need time for yourself to exercise, cook healthy, recharge your batteries, relax and enjoy life.
You may have lifestyle habits that get in the way of your "me" time, like being a people pleaser, which means you're always doing for others and putting yourself last on your "to do" list. All this does is keep you overwhelmed as you meet everyone else's needs but your own.
Getting proper "me" time is as important to weight control as is weighing yourself regularly, being calorie conscious and finding support. If you're not your best advocate and don't make your health a priority, who will?
