Last month I had “client of the year” competition at my studio. 2010 was a awesome year for our clients both at the studio and using my online workout program. We had a couple people pass the 60lbs lost mark, several people pass the 50lbs lost mark and a ton more blew past the 30lbs mark.
When going through my applications for the client of the year I noticed one thing all these clients, that got amazing results, had in common. They all worked their butt off! (literally)
Not a single one had it easy or was “lucky.” They all got in the zone and eliminated all excuses. The two people I ended up choosing had the biggest weight loss, body fat loss, and strength gains.
Both of these people worked their butt off in their sessions with their trainers, but more importantly both stayed after their sessions were done to get some bonus work done, both were in the studio on their “days off” with their trainers, both made major changes in the way they eat, and both made sacrifices to get to where they want to be.
If you sit down and have a conversation with these guys both will tell you it was not easy. Both will tell you they tried many times before... and failed. But most importantly, both these guys will tell you that getting healthier far outweighs all the hard work and sacrifices they made to get there!
Our clients inspire me and I hope they can inspire you to get it done in 2011. Remember 12 months from now you could be 20-40lbs heavier or you could be in the best shape of your life!
