Super slimmer Cheryl S. is down 41 pounds and ready to ring in the New Year at her goal weight of 165.
She tells Diet.com that the key to her sensational dieting success is not giving up... no matter how hard it seems.
And Cheryl knows what she is talking about. She has had to overcome more than most dieters - she watched her calorie-burning metabolism screech to a halt after having her thyroid removed!
"I had never had a weight problem until I had my thyroid removed," she says. "I was on meds and couldn't get my weight below 215."
That was her starting weight last January when she linked up with Diet.com.
Forty-one pounds later, she says the secret is simple.
"I owe it all to Diet.com -- it changed my lifestyle. I started exercising and changed my eating habits. I also changed jobs and that lowered my stress level by 75 percent!"
Cheryl has stopped drinking soda and started eating smaller portions. (That's a photo of her at right; it was taken last Christmas.)
Those are great steps but the real push to stay the course comes from monitoring herself via the Diet.com website.
"The support I get from everybody here is awesome," she says. "The people are so wonderful I have referred a lot of people.
