How to burn extra calories through the holidays!

Between shopping and getting everything organized for the Holidays things can get a little crazy. It will be more difficult to squeeze your workouts in. My suggestion to my clients is do whatever you can!! Here are a couple tips and a simple 30 minute workout making you stress free throughout the next month!

- Take 30 minutes for you a day to either do your strength training routine or a walk or cardio.
- Leave enough time each day to plan the next. Pack your gym bag, set aside your shoes and prepare meals ahead of time! Organization will help you plan for success!

Here is a very simple yet effective workout routine. Sometimes if you have too much on your plate you end up completely skipping it. If you can take a half hour a day that will equal about 900 minutes of exercise that you wouldn’t have done!


In the gym or at home!

Warm-up 5 minutes- Cardio machine or march in place at home.
Squat with shoulder press- 5-10 lbs.
15 reps, 2 sets


Single leg deadlift with medball or jug of water.


15 reps, 2 sets

Alternating chest press on ball

5-10 lbs, 15 reps, 2 sets

Bent over row


5-15 lbs, 15 reps, 2 sets

Ball sit-ups

15x2
10 minutes- Cardio machine or march in place at home.
