Is beer the next health drink? You may be surprised to hear that there are health benefits associated with beer. Studies have shown that beer consumption helps protect the heart, lowers the risk of hypertension, and reduces stress. Also, beer contains nutrients including B vitamins, magnesium, and selenium. Now you can sip on your favorite brew and feel a little less guilty.

Jeremey DuVall highlights his favorite beers in his article, "10 Healthier Beers (And How To Choose The Right One)". Some familiar names made the list including, Sam Adams, Guinness, and Sierra Nevada. Some newer brews are featured too, like the gluten-free 3R Rasberry Ale from New Planet.
