DNA Diet - A New Era of Weight Loss?posted @4:00pm ET on August 22, 2011
Hey Diet.com members and visitors!
I hope everyone is having a great Monday - did you have a nice weekend? I did a great deal of relaxing this weekend, but I also did a lot of swimming. I also bought a fun inflatable football which I got to toss around at the beach with my boyfriend. What'd you get into this weekend?
Well you know I like to share diet and fitness news with you all, so I thought you might be curious to know about a new diet I read about today.
We all know that for some folks, losing weight and maintaining that weight loss isn't just about eating well and exercising. For some of us, genetics can actually play a huge role in not only our weight, but how our bodies metabolize and store fat. This new diet (called the GenoVive program) actually takes your DNA into account - and develops a diet/meal plan for you based on your unique genetics.
You can learn more about this "DNA Diet" here.
I thought it was a pretty interesting idea! Let me know what your thoughts are about a diet and meal plan that are based around your actual DNA/genetics by commenting below!
