Amid a frenzy of criticism for her drastic weight loss on the Master Cleanse diet, Beyonce Knowles is now saying she works out hard and frequently to keep her figure. She says she is “naturally predisposed to be chunky.” Must be all that southern comfort food B.
She admits that she has to work out five days a week to stay in shape. "I worked out five times a week. I would get up in the morning at around 8:30. I ate my cereal and I let it digest, then I did cardio for half an hour, followed by free weights for about 45 minutes," said Knowles.
Finally a celebrity that doesn’t pretend to have a naturally svelte figure (cough cough, Kate Bosworth, we all saw Blue Crush) or works out two hours a day (JSimp getting her Daisy Duke Toosh) which is not possible for most of us. I was also happy to see that she lost weight with only 30 minutes of cardio since many doctors out there recommend an hour which to me is painfully boring and flat out hard. I personally feel like this is totally a doable routine for people who are not celebrities. The only question I would have is if the average person can find the motivation and time to go 5 times a week for longer than a 3-month span. What do you guys think? Is this anything like your exercise routine?
