With the kids back and school and work not being as completely crazy as it was this summer I am getting back to basics. I am going back to calorie counting and light work outs. The kids keep us running with the busy schedules so long works outs wont fit. My goal is 30lb by Christmas. I am looking forward to the challenge.

Calorie counting has been shown to have a MAJOR impact on lasting weight loss - and that doesn't mean you have to count calories for the rest of your life! Many times, if you spend a few weeks tracking diligently, you'll begin to acquire a great foundation of knowledge for calorie counts in common foods you eat.

I think that your goal of 30 lbs by Christmas is totally doable! I hope you'll use all of Diet.com's tools and resources to help you reach that goal! GOOD LUCK!
